Waidangong Movement 2 Front and Back Hand-Thrusting - 外丹功第二式 蹲身甩手百壽功 Waidangong 外丹功 Movement 2 also known as Front and Back Hand-Thrusting, 外丹功第二式 - 蹲身甩手百壽功, this movement keeps your limbs supple, improves your circulation and increases stamina.

Waidangong Movement 2 - 外丹功第二式 Main Points:

The feet are firm and the arms light; With four limbs nimble, one can enjoy good health in old age.

Waidangong Movement 2 - 外丹功第二式 Method:

1:  Move the left foot sideways from the position of the previous movement to make the feet as wide apart as the outer edges of the shoulders. The feet must remain parallel.

2:  Bend the knees as if sitting on a chair.

3:  Raise the arms forward to a horizontal position and press the left edge of the right palm against the juncture of the thumb and the index finger of the left hand twice, each time for about one second.

4: Repeat the movement with the opposite hands.

5: Now separate the hands, palms down, and throw the arms backward as far above the back as possible, with the knees straightened up.

6: Then throw the arms forward again to a horizontal position with the knees bent.

7: Go through the sequence of movements described in 3: ,4:, 5: and 6: nine times.

8: Now place the arms horizontally in front of the body in a relaxed manner, palms down and fingers apart, waiting for original Qi to flow back and forth between the hands and shoulders like an electric current and make the arms tremble.

9: Repeat 3: , 4: and 5: , with palms cupped, and wait for original Qi to make the arms tremble.
