Han Calisthenics 漢導引 Movement 8 also known as Pulling Grass - 漢導引第八式 拔禾式,
this movement serves to losen the hips and exercise the legs, and ultimately feel Qi flowing
in the arms.
Han Calisthenics Movement 8 - 漢導引第八式 Main Points:
Move the hips from left to right and vice versa as if you are swinging a big basket embraced in yours arms.
Han Calisthenics Movement 8 - 漢導引第八式 Method:
1: Stand with the heels close together, then bend the waist so that both hands point at the feet and inhale through the nose.
2: Raise the left foot and move it to the left. At the same time, straighten up the waist and hold up the left arm to point at the sky and have the right arm point at the ground and exhale through the mouth
Do the previous part with the opposite arms and legs.
Han Calisthenics Movement 8 - 漢導引第八式 Note:
Keep the head up and look straight to the front while bending down. Do not look at the floor. If you cannot make you fist to reach the ground, do not force to hurt yourself or attemp to bend your knees. Just go down as much as you can.
