Han Calisthenics Movement 7 - 漢導引第七式

Han Calisthenics Movement 7 is originated from China and is a kind of peaceful Chinese Qi Gong Exercise based upon the philosophy of Moralist and Chinese medicine.

Han Calisthenics 漢導引 Movement 7 (Left) also known as Waist Bending - 漢導引第七式 伏腰式Han Calisthenics 漢導引 Movement 7  also known as Waist Bending - 漢導引第七式 伏腰式, this movement serves to losen the hips and exercise the legs, and ultimately feel Qi flowing in the arms.

Han Calisthenics Movement 7 - 漢導引第七式 Main Points:

Move the hips from left to right and vice versa as if you are swinging a big basket embraced in yours arms.









Han Calisthenics 漢導引 Movement 7 (Right) also known as Waist Bending - 漢導引第七式 伏腰式 Han Calisthenics Movement 7 - 漢導引第七式 Method:

Left
1: The feet remain in the positions of the previous movement.

2: The arms hang down by the sides and the thumb of each hand slightly touches the index finger, the other fingers close together.

3: Utter "Heng" while bending the waist, the left fist touching the ground and the right close to the right knee.

4: Utter "Ha" while straightening up the waist.




Right
Do the previous part one more time with the opposite hands.


Han Calisthenics Movement 7 - 漢導引第七式 Note:

It's important to keep the upper body above the waist still, particularly the arms and the shoulders. Only turn the hips, not the waist. When swinging to the left, straighten the left leg while keeping the right leg bent. The head follows the turn and eye at the mid point between the hands. Likewise, straighten the right leg, look at the right when turning to the right side.
